Review Article: Gardnerella bacteria in Bacterial Vaginosis Causes of Vaginal Infections In Women

Bacterial Vaginosis (BV) is most often encountered as a cause of vaginal infections in women of childbearing age. BV is a disturbance of the biological and chemical balance of the normal vaginal flora. BV related microorganisms are Gardnerella vaginalis, Gardnerella vaginalis germ is considered the cause of non-specific vaginitis. The typical symptom of non-specific vaginitis is the change of vaginal flora. BV is most commonly found in women of reproductive, sexually active age, including lesbian, pregnant women, female users of contraceptive devices in the uterus and performing vaginal rinses. The specific cause of this BV is still unknown. BV incidents are associated with multiple sexual partners, new sexual partners, and previous history of sexually transmitted infections (STIs), but whether BV is considered to be an STI is controversial. In this article review will discuss about the bacteria vaginosis cause of infection in the vagina.
