TEMPE STICK : “ TASTY AND HEALTHY SNACK “

Abstract


Tempe is a traditional food that origins from Indonesia. It made from processed soybeans. Furthermore, tempe could be made as delicious and healthy snack, which is tempe stick. Ingredients that needed for tempe stick are flour (46,7%), tempe (46,7%), margarine (3,6%), lime leaves (1,5%), baking powder (0,1%), flavoring (1,2%), salt (1,2%) and water (3,0%). The nutrient content of tempe stick per 100 g are energy 464 kcal, water 4,96 g, protein 13,03 g, fat 19,47 g and carbohydrate 59,08 g. Production cost for tempe stick is quite cheap and affordable, the profit will reach 113.8%. Therefore, tempe stick very fitted to be developed as profitable entrepreneur.
