Abstract

Teachers at Junior High Schools or Madrasyah Tsanawiyah or other forms of equivalent, must have a minimum academic qualification of four diploma or bachelor  study programs that are appropriate to the subjects taught / supported, and are obtained from study programs that are accredited. This study aims to determine the effect of the Implementation of Academic Qualification Standards and Teacher Competency Policy on the Performance of Teachers of Public Middle Schools in the District of Sodonghilir, Tasikmalaya Regency. This research includes associative research, namely research conducted to determine the relationship of two or more variables. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, documentation studies and questionnaires. Data analysis technique is done through a regression test that is to determine the effect of the implementation of the Academic Qualification Standards and Teacher Competence policies on the performance of Teachers of Public Middle Schools in the District of Sodonghilir, Tasikmalaya Regency Based on the results of the study the magnitude of the influence of the implementation of the Academic Qualification Standards and Teacher Competence policies on the performance of Teachers of Public Middle Schools in the Sodonghilir District of Tasikmalaya Regency is determined by the tractability of the problem, the ability of the policy decision to structure implementation and non-statutory variables that have implemented.
