Abstract

The study was conducted to determine the effect of motivation on employee performance in the Pangandaran District Land Office. Motivation in this study is the motivation given by the Head of Office through direct motivation and indirect motivation influence on employee performance. The research method used is explanatory research method research. Respondents in this study were employees at the Pangandaran District Land Office. Data collection techniques are carried out through literature studies and field studies consisting of observations, documentation studies, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique is done through a regression test followed by path analysis. Based on the results of the study there is the effect of motivation on the performance of Pangandaran Regency Land Office employees. Provision of motivation directly has a greater influence compared to providing indirect motivation by the Head of Office. The conclusion of this study that the magnitude of the effect of motivation on employee performance in the Pangandaran District Land Office is determined by direct motivation and indirect motivaton.
